ARTIST STATEMENT

In order to capture a few of the numerous and varied scenarios involving people of all ages and stations in life, caused by the COVID pandemic, I created these graphite drawings to serve as a meaningful, historical record specifically for my loved ones and for posterity.

I used Scriptures as titles of each illustration to further compliment the story I was attempting to tell.

As an afterthought, and because I love "happy endings", a hint of the color of red completed each drawing symbolizing the courage, passion and joy, which hopefully will bring about more quickly, a future of healing for each of us, for our loved ones, and for our world as a whole.
